The Kinard Law Firm was founded in 1975 by Bobby Kinard. After serving South Carolinians as a Member of the State House of Representatives, he served as a prosecutor for 11 years and as a municipal court judge for more than a decade in addition to his private practice. In 1991, Bobby Kinard was elected Mayor of the City of North Charleston. In 1993, Bobby was joined in private practice by his wife and partner, attorney Susan Trout Kinard in forming the Kinard & Kinard Law Firm. After practicing in North Charleston for 25 years, the firm moved its offices to Mt. Pleasant, where they enjoy practicing in the East Cooper community.
